Speech & Language Therapy

Speech & Language Therapy supports individuals with communication in all its forms such as speaking, understanding language, social communication, listening skills, and alternative ways of expressing needs and feelings. For autistic and ADHD individuals, communication differences are not seen as deficits, but as unique styles that deserve understanding and support. A speech and language therapist works gently and collaboratively to help each person communicate in the way that works best for them, whether through spoken words, gestures, visual supports, sign language, or assistive communication devices. Therapy may focus on building confidence in expressing needs, developing social communication skills, understanding others, or supporting language development at a comfortable pace. For many children and adults, this can be life changing, reducing frustration, strengthening relationships, and helping them feel more understood in the world around them. Sessions are playful, encouraging, and tailored to the individual’s interests, learning style, and sensory needs. Speech & Language Therapy at its heart is about connection and helping neurodivergent individuals feel empowered to share their voice in their own unique way.
