Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “Client”) and Autimly Ltd (“Autimly”, “we”, “us”, “our”) regarding your use of our website, platform, and related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referred to herein. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Introduction

Autimly is a UK-based online platform designed to connect individuals, families, carers, and organisations with trusted, autism- and ADHD-informed professionals (“Professionals”). The Platform provides a matching and referral service by suggesting Professionals whose services may meet your needs, based on information you provide. Autimly does not provide therapy, medical advice, or any professional services directly. All services are delivered by independent Professionals, who are not employees, agents, or representatives of Autimly. Our role is to facilitate introductions between Clients and Professionals and to provide tools to support scheduling, communication, and payments. Custom BulletAny relationship for services is formed directly between you and the Professional.
Custom BulletAutimly is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, legality, or outcomes of any services provided by Professionals.
Custom BulletAutimly does not guarantee that a Professional will be suitable for your needs or that any outcomes will be achieved.

If you are in crisis, experiencing severe distress, or require urgent medical attention, you should contact emergency services (999 in the UK) or your GP immediately. Autimly is not an emergency service.

2. Key Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

Custom Bullet“Platform” means the Autimly website, any associated mobile applications, and related online tools or resources we provide.
Custom Bullet“Client” means any individual, parent, carer, or organisation who registers for an account or uses the Platform to seek services from a Professional.
Custom Bullet“Professional” means any therapist, consultant, clinician, educator, coach, or other service provider listed on the Platform, whether offering in-person or online services.
Custom Bullet“Services” means any advice, assessment, therapy, consultation, education, or support offered by a Professional to a Client.
Custom Bullet“Session” means any booked appointment between a Client and a Professional via the Platform.
Custom Bullet“Booking Fee” means the fee payable for a Session or Service, as displayed at the time of booking.
Custom Bullet“Commission” means the percentage of the Booking Fee retained by Autimly for facilitating the connection and providing platform services.

3. About Autimly and Our Role

Autimly acts solely as an introduction and facilitation platform. We are not a party to the agreement between you and any Professional, and we have no control over, or responsibility for:

Custom BulletThe conduct of Professionals or Clients.
Custom BulletThe scope, content, quality, or delivery of any Services.
Custom BulletAny advice, recommendations, diagnoses, or treatments provided.
Custom BulletThe accuracy of information provided by Professionals or Clients.

All Professionals on the Platform confirm that they meet our eligibility criteria, including holding relevant qualifications, registrations, and insurance appropriate to their profession. However, you are responsible for making your own checks before engaging any Professional.

When you book a Session through the Platform:

Custom BulletThe contract for Services is between you and the Professional.
Custom BulletAutimly facilitates payment by collecting the Booking Fee and transferring the agreed portion to the Professional after deducting our Commission.
Custom BulletAutimly is not liable for any acts, omissions, errors, or breaches by the Professional.

We may provide tools such as messaging, scheduling, and payment processing to support the interaction between you and the Professional, the actual delivery of the Services.

4. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use the Platform as a Client, you must:

Custom BulletBe at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage your account on your behalf.
Custom BulletHave the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under UK law.
Custom BulletProvide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information during registration and in any communications with Autimly or Professionals.
Custom BulletNot have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform.

You agree to:

Custom BulletKeep any account login details confidential and secure.
Custom BulletNotify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
Custom BulletAccept responsibility for all activities under your account.

Autimly reserves the right to decline, suspend, or terminate accounts where we believe these Terms have been breached, or where doing so is necessary to protect Clients, Professionals, or the reputation of the Platform.

5. How Matching Works

The matching process is designed to connect you with Professionals who may be a good fit for your needs. The steps generally include:

Custom BulletCompletion of the Intake Questionnaire – You provide information about your needs, preferences, and goals.
Custom BulletReview by the Autimly Matching Team – Our team reviews your questionnaire and selects 1–5 Professionals whose profiles best align with your requirements.
Custom BulletRecommendations Sent – You receive an email with details of the recommended Professionals, including their bios, availability, and pricing.
Custom BulletYou Choose – You decide whether to book a session with one of the recommended Professionals, request a different match, or decline.

Important notes:

Custom BulletWe make recommendations based on the information you provide. If that information is incomplete or inaccurate, it may affect the quality of the match.
Custom BulletWe do not guarantee that a match will be successful or that the recommended Professional will meet your expectations.
Custom BulletYou are under no obligation to book with the recommended Professionals.

6. Client Responsibilities

When using the Platform, you agree to:

Custom BulletCommunicate respectfully and professionally with Professionals and Autimly staff.
Custom BulletEnsure that any information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
Custom BulletAttend booked Sessions on time, or provide adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule (as per our
Custom BulletComply with any professional advice given to you regarding safety, safeguarding, or suitability for certain interventions.
Custom BulletNot record Sessions without the express consent of all participants.
Custom BulletNot use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including harassment, abuse, fraud, or unauthorised commercial activity.

7. Fees & Payment

7.1 Booking Fees

The Booking Fee for each Session is set by the Professional. Fees may vary depending on the type of Service, session length, and the Professional’s qualifications.

7.2 Payment Process

Custom BulletAll payments are processed through the Platform’s secure payment provider.
Custom BulletAt the time of booking, you authorise us to use your chosen payment method for the full Booking Fee.
Custom BulletAutimly collects the Booking Fee and transfers the Professional’s share after deducting our agreed Commission.

7.3 Commission

Autimly retains a Commission (usually 20%, unless otherwise stated) from the Booking Fee in return for providing the Platform, marketing, and administrative services. This does not increase the fee you pay — the price displayed is inclusive.

7.4 Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy (see section 9). Where a refund is due, it will be processed via the original payment method within 14 days.

8. Relationship Between Clients & Professionals

8.1 Autimly’s Role

Autimly is not a service provider. The Platform is a matching and booking service that connects Clients with independent Professionals.

Custom BulletProfessionals listed on the Platform are self-employed independent contractors.
Custom BulletThey are not employees, agents, or representatives of Autimly.
Custom BulletAll Services are delivered solely by the Professional you book with.

By booking a Service, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Professional. Autimly’s role is limited to:

Custom BulletFacilitating introductions and bookings.
Custom BulletProviding payment processing.
Custom BulletOffering customer support in relation to the Platform.

Autimly does not:

Custom BulletProvide therapy, medical care, or any other professional service.
Custom BulletSupervise, monitor, or control the manner in which Professionals deliver Services.
Custom BulletGuarantee the qualifications, licensing, or suitability of any Professional, beyond reasonable verification checks.
Custom BulletAccept responsibility for the content or outcome of any advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by a Professional.

It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they are comfortable with the Professional’s credentials, approach, and suitability before booking.

8.2 Home Visits

Some Professionals may offer in-person services at your home or another agreed location (“Home Visits”). By booking a Home Visit, you agree to the following:

Custom BulletSafety & Suitability: You must ensure the environment is safe, appropriate, and free from hazards that could endanger the Professional or any participants.
Custom BulletPresence of a Responsible Adult: For services involving children or vulnerable adults, a parent, legal guardian, or authorised carer must be present at all times during the Home Visit.
Custom BulletTravel & Additional Costs: Some Professionals may charge for travel time or expenses. Any such fees will be clearly stated before you confirm the booking.
Custom BulletProfessional Conduct: Professionals will act in accordance with their regulatory and safeguarding obligations. They are entitled to leave immediately if they believe the environment is unsafe, inappropriate, or breaches safeguarding requirements.
Custom BulletClient Conduct: You agree to treat Professionals with courtesy and respect, and not to request or engage in any activity outside the agreed scope of the booked Service.
Custom BulletLiability: Autimly is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, loss, or damage occurring during Home Visits. Any issues should be addressed directly with the Professional, in accordance with section 11 (Safeguarding & Complaints).

9. Cancellation & Refund Policy

9.1 Cancellations by Clients

Custom BulletIf you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled Session, you will receive a full refund.
Custom BulletIf you cancel between 24–48 hours before the Session, you will receive a 50% refund.
Custom BulletIf you cancel less than 24 hours before the Session, the Booking Fee is non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances.

9.2 Rescheduling

Custom BulletYou may request to reschedule a Session up to 24 hours before it is due to start, subject to the Professional’s availability.
Custom BulletRescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the Session may be treated as a cancellation.

9.3 Cancellations by Professionals

If your Professional cancels a Session, you may choose either:

Custom BulletA full refund, or
Custom BulletTo reschedule with the same or a different Professional.

9.4 Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds outside of these rules may be granted at Autimly’s discretion where there are exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical emergencies, safeguarding concerns).

10. Limitations of Liability

10.1 General

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

10.2 Platform Use

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Custom BulletAutimly is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or Services booked through it.
Custom BulletThis includes (but is not limited to) loss of profits, loss of business, emotional distress, or reputational harm.

10.3 Professional Services

All Services are delivered by independent Professionals. Autimly is not responsible for:

Custom BulletThe accuracy of advice or information given by Professionals.
Custom BulletThe effectiveness of any therapy, assessment, or intervention.
Custom BulletAny injury, loss, or damage caused by a Professional’s acts or omissions.

You accept that engaging with a Professional via the Platform is done at your own risk.

11. Safeguarding & Complaints

11.1 Safeguarding Commitment

Autimly is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all Clients, especially children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We take any concerns about safety or wellbeing seriously.

If at any point you believe there is an immediate risk of harm to yourself or another person, you should:

Custom BulletContact your local crisis service or GP.

11.2 Reporting Concerns

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding a Professional you have booked through the Platform, you must contact Autimly immediately via admin@autimly.com.

Where appropriate, we may:

Custom BulletSuspend the Professional from the Platform while the matter is investigated.
Custom BulletRefer the concern to the relevant regulatory or safeguarding authority.
Custom BulletCooperate fully with law enforcement or other agencies.

11.3 Complaints About Services

If you are unhappy with the Service provided by a Professional, please:

Custom BulletRaise the issue directly with the Professional where possible.
Custom BulletContact Autimly if the issue cannot be resolved.

We will investigate complaints in line with our Complaints Procedure and may take action including mediation, issuing warnings, or removing the Professional from the Platform.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with: The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and The Data Protection Act 2018.

12.1 What We Collect

We collect and process personal data necessary to:

Custom BulletOperate the Platform.
Custom BulletMatch Clients with suitable Professionals.
Custom BulletProcess payments and bookings.

This may include:

Custom BulletContact details (name, email, phone number).
Custom BulletInformation about your needs, preferences, or diagnosis (if disclosed).
Custom BulletSession notes provided voluntarily by Professionals.

12.2 How We Use Your Data

Your data will be used to:

Custom BulletFacilitate matching and bookings.
Custom BulletCommunicate with you about your Sessions.
Custom BulletMaintain Platform security and functionality.
Custom BulletMeet legal or safeguarding obligations.

12.3 Sharing of Data

We will only share your data:

Custom BulletWith Professionals you choose to engage with.
Custom BulletWith service providers who process data on our behalf.
Custom BulletWhen required by law or for safeguarding purposes.

We will never sell your personal data to third parties.

12.4 Your Rights

You have the right to:

Custom BulletRequest corrections to inaccurate data.
Custom BulletRequest deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
Custom BulletObject to certain types of processing.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time:

Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms have been posted will mean you accept the changes.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Custom BulletThese Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Custom BulletAny legal proceedings relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
