Post Diagnosis & Ongoing Support

Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t getting a diagnosis, it’s knowing what comes next. Autimly offers ongoing guidance and emotional support for autistic and ADHD people, as well as parents and carers, as they adjust to new understanding, routines, and needs.

Why It Matters

A diagnosis can bring relief but it can also open up new emotions and challenges. Many autistic and ADHD people, as well as parents and carers, describe a period of regression or increased struggle afterward.

When the effort to cope or mask begins to ease, the exhaustion underneath often surfaces. You start to notice what’s been hard all along, including burnout, shifting routines, or emotions that finally have space to be felt.

For children with a new diagnosis, it’s important to honour their needs, create consistency, and offer support that feels safe and affirming. For parents and carers, learning how to do this while managing your own emotions and navigating the system can be equally overwhelming.

Post-diagnosis support helps you move through this stage with care and clarity, supporting your mental health and emotional wellbeing as you adjust, understand, and rebuild balance at your own pace.

How Autimly Helps

Our team offers gentle, practical guidance for individuals diagnosed with autism and or/ ADHD and for parents and carers adjusting to new understanding.

We help you make sense of what the diagnosis means in daily life, emotionally, socially, and practically. Together, we explore what’s been hard, identify what helps, and build tools that feel realistic and sustainable.
