Why It Matters
An autism or ADHD diagnosis can bring relief, but it may also raise new questions and emotions. Autimly offers ongoing guidance and emotional support for autistic and ADHD individuals (and their parents or carers) as you adjust to this new understanding of yourself or your loved one. Our warm, neurodivergent-affirming approach helps you find balance in daily life without judgement or overwhelm.
After a diagnosis, you or your family might experience a mix of relief and uncertainty. Many people describe a period when, after the effort to mask or cope eases, the exhaustion and burnout underneath can surface. You might notice challenges that were always there such as sensory overload to struggles with routine coming to the forefront. Parents and carers often feel overwhelmed too, as they learn how to support a recently diagnosed child while managing their own emotions and navigating new information.
Post-diagnostic support helps you move through this stage with care and clarity. It provides space to process what the diagnosis means for your life, emotionally and practically, and ensures you’re not alone as you adjust. With the right support, you can turn confusion into understanding and begin to rebuild confidence and routine at your own pace.
How Autimly Supports You
At Autimly, we understand the emotional weight a new diagnosis can carry. Our multidisciplinary team including therapists, clinical psychologists, life coaches, and group facilitators provide gentle, practical guidance tailored to your needs. We blend proven strategies with personal, lived-experience insights to help make sense of your diagnosis in daily life. Together, we’ll explore what’s been hard, identify what helps, and build tools that feel realistic and sustainable for you.
Whether you’re seeking reassurance and direction right now or looking for a long term plan, our professionals create a compassionate space where all questions are welcome. Sessions can be short term boosts or part of an ongoing plan. Depending on what feels right, you might work one-on-one with a therapist or coach. In every case, support is neurodivergent-affirming, flexible to your lifestyle, and focused on empowering you (or your child) rather than “fixing” you.

Post-Diagnosis Support Pathways
Everyone’s journey after a diagnosis is different, so Autimly provides a range of support pathways. You can choose the option that fits you best (with our team’s guidance). Here are the key pathways designed for post-diagnosis and ongoing support:
Post-Diagnosis Starter with Therapist – A one-off, 50 minute session led by a licensed therapist. This consult is all about emotional grounding and therapeutic insight as you begin your post-diagnosis journey. It focuses on helping you process your new identity and feelings in a safe space. You’ll come away with a clearer understanding of yourself, plus a tailored plan for next steps and coping strategies to support your mental wellbeing.
Post-Diagnosis Starter with Coach – A one-off, 50 minute session guided by an Autism/ADHD coach or therapist with lived experience. This option is more practically focused, it’s about building daily routines and self-regulation strategies that work for you right now. Together with your coach, you’ll tackle challenges like managing executive function in day-to-day tasks. This session is great if you’re looking for concrete tips from someone who truly “gets it” through experience, not just textbooks.
Ongoing Therapy Consults – Continued support through regular therapy sessions to keep you growing confidently over time. These ongoing sessions are perfect for maintaining momentum after your initial post-diagnosis consults. You’re in control of the pace. ome people use these consults for a few months during a tough transition, while others keep them as a steady source of guidance and a safe space to talk things through.
Group Support for Adults with Autism & ADHD – Small group support to help you feel less alone and learn alongside peers. These are therapist led group sessions (with around four participants per group) where autistic and ADHD adults come together to share experiences. Each 50 minute session explores important topics like personal identity, unmasking (learning to be your authentic self), coping with sensory or regulation struggles, and celebrating wins in a neuroaffirming space.
