Why It Matters

Autimly’s Autism & ADHD Coaching offers one-on-one guidance tailored to neurodivergent minds. It’s all about turning challenges into growth, using approaches that celebrate your strengths and respect your pace. Our friendly coaches partner with you (or your child) to build practical strategies for everyday life.

Who We Support

  • Custom BulletAutistic & ADHD Individuals: We coach neurodivergent people of all ages – from children and teens just learning about themselves, to adults (diagnosed or self-identified) navigating work, school, or daily life. Whether you’re newly exploring what autism or ADHD means for you, or years into your journey, our coaches meet you where you are with understanding and flexibility. We know the world isn’t designed for autistic or ADHD brains so we help you find your way of thriving in it.
  • Custom BulletParents & Caregivers: We also support parents and carers of neurodivergent children or teens. If you feel overwhelmed or unsure how to help your autistic/ADHD child, coaching can guide you toward clarity and confidence. We essentially “coach the coach” – empowering you to shift from a traditional parent role to a collaborative partner for your child. You’ll learn practical strategies to handle tough moments and celebrate wins, and ways to make a big impact with less stress. The result is often a more positive, understanding relationship for the whole family.

What We Help With

Our coaching is strength based and covers a wide range of skill building and problem solving areas. Here’s what our Autism & ADHD Coaches can help you or your loved one with (along with examples of outcomes):

  • Custom BulletEmotional Regulation: Learn ways to manage overwhelm, stress, and big feelings. For example, if meltdowns or shutdowns are a frequent issue, a coach helps identify triggers and calming strategies so you can catch the early signs of overload. Over time, you can prevent overwhelm before it escalates – like simplifying your environment or using sensory breaks to stay balanced. The goal is to handle emotions in a healthier way (without losing your unique emotional style!
  • Custom BulletExecutive Function Skills: Get support with planning, organisation, time management, and getting things done. Coaches work with you to break tasks into manageable steps and create systems that play to your strengths. If you forget important things or lose track of tasks, we introduce tools so you don’t have to hold everything in your head. Over time, you build routines and habits that make everyday life more structured and doable.
  • Custom BulletSensory Support: Find ways to navigate sensory sensitivities and sensory overload. Coaching might involve identifying your unique sensory profile and then adapting your environment or routines accordingly. We also encourage healthy stimming and other self regulation techniques as positive tools (rather than discouraging them). The outcome is that you feel more comfortable in daily environments and can often prevent sensory meltdowns or shutdowns before they happen.
  • Custom BulletParenting Strategies: For parents of autistic or ADHD kids, coaching provides guidance on everything from daily routines to advocacy. We can help you decode behaviors and develop consistent strategies for things like bedtime, homework, or outings. A key focus is helping you move from feeling frustrated or unsure to feeling empowered in your parenting. We also can arm you with knowledge about autism/ADHD so you can better understand your child’s needs and confidently explain those needs to teachers or family. In short, you’ll gain tools to support your child and yourself with more calm and compassion.
  • Custom BulletTeen Coaching: The teen years can be especially challenging for neurodivergent youth – and we’re here to help teens flourish while staying true to themselves. Coaching for teens might address self-advocacy (learning to express needs and boundaries), social skills and friendship dynamics, managing school or homework, preparing for adult life, and more. We build on each teen’s interests and strengths to keep them motivated (no boring cookie-cutter advice), and we respect their need for predictability and autonomy. Over time, you might notice your teen growing more confident – speaking up about what they need, handling changes with less anxiety, and taking steps toward their goals (like planning for college or a job) with pride.
  • Custom BulletAuDHD Support: “AuDHD” refers to folks who are both autistic and ADHD – and they often face a unique blend of challenges and strengths. Our coaches understand the “living contradiction” that being AuDHD can feel like. We help AuDHD individuals find balance and self acceptance. Coaching might involve finding flexible routines that give you some structure and variety, or strategies to manage the cycle of hyperfocus and burnout that many AuDHDers experience. Most importantly, we draw on your combined strengths and help you use them to overcome challenges.

How It Works

  • Custom BulletCollaborative & Goal-Oriented: Autimly coaching is a partnership. You and your coach will start by chatting about what you want help with. We’ll set goals together based on your needs and priorities. Every coaching journey is personalised so there is no rigid program you must follow. In each session, you decide what’s most important to tackle that day, and your coach helps you explore solutions and celebrate progress (big or small). This collaborative, client led style helps ensure the coaching is always relevant and empowering for you.
  • Custom BulletStrengths Based Approach: Our coaches focus on what you do well and what lights you up, as much as on what’s challenging. Research shows that a validating, strengths-based approach is vital for neurodivergent people to truly thrive. In practice, this means your coach will help you leverage your interests, talents, and unique perspective as tools for growth. By appreciating your strengths (instead of harping on “deficits”), coaching boosts your confidence and motivation to try new strategies. This positive, affirming approach makes coaching a safe space where you’re accepted as you are and encouraged to become even more you.
  • Custom BulletExecutive Function: Many autistic and ADHD folks struggle with executive functions such as organising, planning ahead, remembering tasks, or regulating focus. Our coaches provide scaffolding for these skills. Think of scaffolding like the temporary support structure that helps a building stand until it’s strong on its own. In coaching, this could look like creating step-by-step checklists with you, setting up visual calendars or timers, or practicing routines together until you feel comfortable. Our coaches will break down big or daunting tasks into bitesized pieces and introduce tools that fit your style. This structure makes goals that once felt overwhelming much more attainable. Over time, as you build habits and confidence, we adjust or remove the “scaffolds”. You become more independent in managing things that used to require lots of help. You’re essentially training your executive function “muscles,” with your coach spotting you like a gym partner.
  • Custom BulletNeurodivergent Friendly Pacing: Unlike some traditional coaching, we don’t force a neurotypical pace. We understand that energy and focus can vary greatly day to day, and that managing your energy is just as crucial as managing your time for autistic and ADHD individuals. Our coaches will work with you to find a rhythm that suits you. Your coach will encourage you to listen to your body and mind. By honoring your natural pace, coaching feels comfortable and sustainable. We’d rather go slow and steady if it leads to real, lasting progress, than push you too fast and cause burnout. In short, you set the tempo and we adapt to it.
  • Custom BulletHigh Level Process: We keep the coaching process simple and user friendly. Typically, it starts with a free initial chat. Once you begin coaching, sessions can take place online (video or phone) or in-person, depending on your preference and location. A session usually lasts around 50 minutes. In each session, your coach will check in on progress, troubleshoot any hurdles, introduce new strategies as needed, and set or adjust goals for next time. Between sessions, you might get gentle check-ins or fun “homework” like trying out a new tool or noting what strategies worked. The tone is always supportive and non-clinical. Coaching is not therapy, and you won’t be judged or analysed. Think of your coach as a knowledgeable friend or mentor who is there to brainstorm with you, hold you accountable in a kind way, and remind you of how far you’ve come.

Why Autimly?

Choosing Autimly for coaching means you’re in caring, capable hands. Here are a few reasons our coaching stands out:

  • Custom BulletNeurodivergent-Affirming Values: Autimly was built by and for neurodivergent individuals, and it shows in everything we do. We understand autism and ADHD not as problems to “fix,” but as natural variations with their own strengths and challenges. Our specialists are vetted for their experience and values, ensuring they truly “get it”. You can be open about your stims, your hyperfixations, your struggles without any shame.
  • Custom BulletAutism & ADHD Focus: Unlike general life coaching services, Autimly’s entire platform is dedicated to neurodivergent support. It’s not an add-on or afterthought – it’s our starting point. This means all our resources, training, and methods are tailored for the autistic and ADHD experience. From using visual communication if you prefer it, to being mindful of sensory needs during sessions, everything is designed with neurodiversity in mind.
  • Custom BulletExecutive Function and Beyond: Our coaching doesn’t happen in a silo. Because Autimly offers a full ecosystem of support, your coach can easily collaborate or recommend other services if needed. This joined up care means you won’t fall through the cracks. Autimly bridges emotional, practical, and even medical needs to create continuity for you. If coaching reveals you need more help in one area (say, mental health counseling), we can help arrange that – you won’t be left on your own to start the search again. Our goal is a holistic support system centered around you.
  • Custom BulletPersonalised Matching: Getting the right coach matters. Autimly uses a thorough matching process to pair you with a coach who suits your needs and personality. Our team (actual humans, not algorithms) reviews it and handpicks a specialist who seems like the best fit. We look at factors like expertise and even personality matching. This way, your coach “clicks” with you and you can build trust quickly. If for any reason the fit isn’t right, we’ll happily rematch you. We want you to feel truly comfortable with your coach, as a foundation for great progress.
  • Custom BulletProven Techniques (with a Human Touch): Autimly coaches draw on proven methods, from cognitive-behavioral techniques to neurodiversity affirming practices, but always adapt them to the individual. We stay up-to-date with the latest research on autism and ADHD support. However, we never take a one size fits all approach. Our coaches are creative and empathetic, ready to toss out the “textbook” if it’s not working for you. At Autimly, your lived experience is valued as much as our expertise in guiding you. You’re the expert on you, and we’re here to bring in tools and insights that resonate, not impose those that don’t.
  • Custom BulletCommunity & Continuity: When you engage in Autimly coaching, you also gain access to a larger supportive community (if you want it). We host online forums and support groups where you can connect with others who have similar questions and experiences. Autimly stays with you for the long haul.

Autimly’s Autism & ADHD Coaching is designed to give you real, meaningful help in a way that feels good. It’s neurodivergent affirming, custom fit to you, and delivered by caring experts who truly understand the autistic and ADHD experience.
